South First Street Phase 1 Receives Prestigious Jeffie Award

We are proud to share that South First Street Phase 1 has been honored with a Jeffie Award from the Urban Land Institute (ULI), recognized as The Most Influential Project of the Hiatus Years (2020–2023) in the Affordable Housing category. Resident Planner Audrey Oliver and AHG Project Manager Ashley Davies accepted the award on behalf of the team. We’re also excited to share that the Crescent Halls renovation project was nominated as well.

The Jeffie Awards were launched in 2018 by Charlottesville’s ULI Young Leaders Group to celebrate excellence in local development. Hosted annually by the Urban Land Institute, the awards honor projects that demonstrate innovation, thoughtful design, and a lasting positive impact on the community.
